Private online bread baking class

Are you looking for fun, hands-on activities that you can share with family even whilst apart? Then celebrate and enjoy virtual time with friends and family through a relaxed private online baking class.

Book now by contacting Rhiannon – click here to email – to find a date for your private class.

Cooking and baking can be about so much more than just making yourself something to eat.

It can also be a shared experience with loved ones, some time out to create and to enjoy time together. It’s great fun too!

Book a private online bread baking class with The Epsom Bakehouse and you could:

  • Have a contest to find who makes the best looking bake.

  • Entertain the grandkids whilst learning a delicious new skill together.

  • Bake some beautiful gifts for neighbours who’ve been there for you in 2020

So you may not be able to get the whole family or all your friends together right now. But you can still celebrate, laugh and enjoy time together with an online event.

What could you learn in a private online class?

Choose a bread from the list below to bake during your private class:

  • Ciabatta
  • Cinnamon rolls
  • Christmas stollen
  • Chocolate babka
  • Crusty white sandwich loaf

No previous bread making experience is necessary. You’ll learn step-by-step with me.

How long will the class last?

The class will last around an hour.

You’ll mix and knead your dough step by step with me, with plenty of time to ask questions (or to compare how each other are getting on!).

You’ll also be taught how to shape and bake your dough to create a delicious loaf of bread to enjoy.

At the end of the class, you’ll have a dough that’s rising, soon to be shaped and baked.

Where will the class be held?

The class will be held via Zoom. This is an online conference calling programme which uses video and audio. You’ll be able to see and hear me, and, if you like, ask questions and show what you’re doing too.

When can classes take place?

My private bread baking classes usually take place:

Monday to Thursday between 9.30am and 4.30pm

Saturday or Sunday afternoons between 1 and 5pm.

If you’d like a day/time outside of these then please do let me know as I’d be happy to discuss further.

What will you need to take part in the class?

Prior to the class we’ll discuss the bread you’d like to bake.

I will then send a detailed recipe and joining instructions on how to join the class.

You’ll need to have the necessary ingredients for the bread you’d like to bake and some simple kitchen equipment. Items and ingredients required are kept simple to ensure you can bake along from home.

What’s the feedback been from previous students?

Students have given my bread making classes over 40 5* reviews on Google. Previous attendees often describe my classes as relaxed, informative and enjoyable. You can see student feedback here.

How much is a private online bread baking class?

The cost of a private group bread baking online class is £200 for up to 8 people joining the call.

This includes your choice of bread to learn to bake, a detailed recipe to bake along to at home and plenty of time to ask questions and chat whilst you bake together during your class.

Just had a lovely online baking session with Rhiannon, learning to bake cinnamon rolls. Her communication from the start was clear. She made us all feel at ease and ran the session seamlessly. A great way to learn some new skills in the middle of lockdown!
