Women on Wednesday #WOW award win

In September 2016, I was chosen as a WOW winner! This competition is run by Jacqueline Gold, CEO of Ann Summers. WOW, or Women on Wednesday, celebrates women in business and especially those starting up their own business. The competition is run on Twitter – businesses must tweet Jacqueline using the #wow hashtag and a short overview of their business. From over 200 entries, The Epsom Bakehouse was chosen as a #WOW winner!

I was subsequently invited to a Christmas market hosted by Jacqueline Gold at the Ann Summers headquarters for their staff, and met Jacqueline there.

At the start of March 2019, I was interviewed by Liz Rosling for the SME Loans campaign #WomenInSMEs. The campaign highlights the experiences of women starting and developing their own business.

In the interview, I discussed how I set up The Epsom Bakehouse, the challenges I’ve faced, and how I established a second business helping other start up food businesses.
