Learn step-by-step to bake your own panettone at home. Fill your kitchen with wonderful festive aromas as your loaves bake. Create a showstopper that will wow family and friends and that will become the centrepiece of your celebration meal.
What will you learn to make?Â
You’ll learn step-by-step to mix, knead, prove and bake a panettone loaf.
You’ll also get a detailed recipe to download and use at home.
How long will the class last?Â
The class will last up to an hour. During this time, there will be plenty of time for you to ask questions about the process.
After the class, you’ll receive access to a recording of the process to watch when you bake the recipe again. The recording includes subtitles.
Where will the class be held?Â
The class will be held on Zoom. You’ll be able to see and hear me and, if you like, be able to ask questions and show what you’re doing too.
What if I can’t join the class live?Â
It is best if you can join live as you’ll have the opportunity to ask questions as we make and shape the dough.
However, if you can’t make any of the available dates, you can still sign up to receive access to the step-by-step recording which you can bake along with, plus the detailed recipe to use at home.
How much is the class?Â
The class is £24.99 per person. Once signed up, you’ll receive the recipe details and how to join the class in the week before the class.
What will you need to take part in the class?Â
You’ll need the basic ingredients to bake panettone including strong white wheat bread flour, yeast, salt, sugar, butter, eggs, raisins, mixed peel, lemon, orange and vanilla essence.
You will also need two paper panettone moulds both 14cm in diameter, available online.
You’ll also need basic kitchen equipment such as kitchen scales, a large bowl and a baking tray.
