Perhaps you recently started baking bread at home as you had a little more time. Or maybe, like me, you’ve loved to bake most of your life – I have happy memories of baking along in the kitchen (and probably making a fine mess!) from an early age.
There are many reasons you might love to bake bread at home – and I’d love to hear more about why you do. Let me know in the comments below or get in touch.
In the video below I talk about some of the reasons I love to bake bread at home. You can see more about the bread wreath pictured above, which used to hang in my Grandma’s kitchen. It brings back happy memories of baking and cooking with family – and it now hangs in my kitchen, where I teach many of you to bake great bread at home.

Thanks June – I love the smell too! Even though it’s so hot here at the moment, I still baked some bread yesterday. Let me know how your carrot and courgette bread turns out or if you have any questions. Rhiannon.
